I’m looking at buying a variable or equity annuity and am curious what the broker commission is. I’ve read stuff that there is a recurring commission (ie: 1st year, 2nd year, etc) but how does that work if I only put money in up front? Or do I have to put money in annually? I’m looking at Allianz and Prudential products.

Here in Taiwan, you can go to 7-11 and buy a prepaid SIM card for your cell phone. Every time your account runs out, you can go back to 7-11 and pay cash to recharge your phone. Point is, you pay cash at 7-11 instead of getting a monthly phone bill in the mail. And you pay in advance, so you never owe money. Is there a product like this in the states, where you can go to the store and use cash to pre-pay for your cell phone time?

i have cellphones as new as 10 months ago and as old at 10 years ago.
these are NOT stolen phones. I never knew what to do with my old phones until I saw a school have a fundraiser box that give money for old cell phones. I figure if schools can find organizations to pay for old cell phones anyone can. when I search for businesses that pay for old cell phones, you have to mail the phones in and wait 30 days for a check.

So Im looking into getting a new phone because the one I have right now just isnt a good one for me. I was thinking that its in pretty good shape so I should try to sell it. Its a AT&T RAZOR BR50 and everything works. Screan has no scratches or faults, clean, good camara, good service, etc… Is there a good site I could sell it on for money? Or any where I could take it? Im not expecting to get a lot for it just because it is used regardless of the condition, but It isnt useless enough to throw it away. Thanks

I am starting an IT consulting business and as with most startups, money is tight.

Do you think we can get a good salesperson if we offer no base but good commissions with recurring income? We will be offering 30% of the margin on each sale and since the contract is monthly the salesperson will be getting recurring commission each month the customer renews.

While we have no real data to base it on, we feel the commission potential for a good sales guy should be in the $100k+ range.
Is that attractive enough to hire a talented salesperson?
