He will have a small amount of cash. He is very smart, polite, and works hard. He wants to take this chance get out of the US and see more of the world. He would like to find a job and support himself. He has no family or friends there so he’ll be arriving totally alone. His great grandfather going back 11 generations is John Endicott from England. He needs cheap accomodation and access to any kind of work that will support his desire to live there for a year. Any info/experience/suggestions would be appreciated.

i read this blog today about a cell phone rant… people who do things while on cell phones that other people hate.

some people thought it was soooo offensive to talk on the phone while at the cash register, ordering food, or riding in a bus or car… while others thought that their should not be social rules about cell phone when u would hold the same conversation with someone in person while at these same places…

so my question is.. do u think its rude when ppl are on their cell phones while driving, or at resturants or at the cash register or do u think it makes no difference… does someone talking on a cell phone bother you more then someone holding a conversation face to face w/ someone in public…

I really want to recycle my chinese cell phone!!! I already bought a new tmobile sidekick 2008 and so i don’t need this one anymore. The thing is, I bought this phone off of ebay for about $150. I already went to most of the “recycle your old cell phones for cash” websites, and obviously they mostly just have the most popular brands. When I’m trying to select my manufacturer, there’s no “other” also!!! When there is the “other” option, my phone ends up to be of $0 value.
How do I recycle it? It’s a Cect k630i (not sony ericsson)
(it’s a good phone: mp3 player, bluetooth, 2.0 mp camera, touch screen…..)
any help would be great!
