Hey guys im bad at math and have a test coming up,
the teacher gave a rivision sheet with the following questions
ive done them but not sure if my answers are right.
so ive pasted the questions here to see other peoples working out and answers
Calculate the simple interest on the following amounts:
a) $200 borrowed at %5 p.a interest for 2 years
b) $500 borrowed at %7.5 p.a interest for 5 years
c) $1500 borrowed at %11 p.a interest for 7 years
Rebecca has recently bought a $1500 car. She had a cash deposit of $3000 and has borrowed the remainder. A car loan from the State bank undertaken by Rebecca is t be repaid monthly over the next 4 years. The simple interest rate is 4.5% p.a
Calculate her monthly repayments.
A real estate agent recieves 1% commision on the first $80, 000, 2% on the next $100, 000 and then 2.5% on the remaining value.
Calculate the commission earned on the following sales ;
