Do not go to a for-profit university such a DeVry.
They are expensive and their degrees do not carry much respect. If you live in one of the 13 western states (except California) or in Indiana, look at Western Governors University which was created to provide good quality business education at a low price for the state residents. Residents of other states can go too, but have to pay more.
Most state universities offer online business degrees and your state university may be the least expensive school at which to earn yours.

It is difficult to say what online college is the best just as it is difficult to say what campus based college is the best. There are simply too many factors that need to be considered. What is more inportant is finding the best college for you.
My recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges that offer the degree program you are looking for to weigh the pro’s and con’s (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.) so you have all the info before you decide anything.
This site has some good information on regionally accredited online degree programs and colleges that offer them:
Good Luck!

Why is it that the links people provide in these posts (such as the links in the posts by some) always “recommend” one of the for-profit colleges and never mention the traditional non-profits. Do these people really believe that a BS in Bus from Strayer is “better” than one from UMass or UTexas? No, they don’t – they’re getting paid for the click through.
So, OwnPool is correct – if you have to go online then the best choice in respectability and cost will be your local state U. The most respectable will be the traditional colleges that also teach online – there are 1000′s. The least respectable (and often least useful) will be the for-profit colleges.
Online education isn’t new and mysterious anymore. Nearly every college teaches online these days. And, I do mean “every”. Many of those also offer the entire degree online. They do fed financial aid, easy online admission, flexible class schedules, etc… just like the for-profits.
So first take a look at what’s offered in your state from your state U. Places like UMass, Florida, UTexas, CalState (CSU), and tons more are all offering degrees online these days and business is the most common subject. It’s just the normal way things are now and becoming more “normal” each semester that passes.
U Mass (online) U Florida (online) U Wisconsin (Platteville) (online)
there are examples like that in every state.
Add: Sorry PE, typo – OwnPool is correct, PE may answer later. ☺

As several responders have stated, the best online degree is from an established and respectable not-for-profit school, such as a state school.
If you’re brave, you may want to look at the MBA from Heriot-Watt University, in Britain. This is a top-tier MBA, from the second largest online MBA school in the world. Cost looks to be below $15,000 for the entire degree. A distinguishing characteristic of the Heriot-Watt MBA is that no undergraduate degree is required.

My advice to you will be that, you should contact a number of colleges which offer degree in the field you are interested in. As there are many competitive colleges these days, you need to consider various factors before choosing it. A college which is good in something might not be good in other things. So do a little research before enrolling into online college.
