ACP asked: I am considering doing an rv/boat storage because the parcel is completely flat and fenced. It’s also on a busy highway so there is great visibility. Thank you!
It is located in Hemet, CA 92545

it would have to be zoned for commercial business and be pretty close to a lake or seaside community.
If it is close to town, how about storage buildings? Either way, you will need liability insurance.

Where is the land? You need to find some business to put on the land. What unmet needs are there in the community?

solar panels!!!!!!!! Wind energy! The power company will give you credit. Sell drugs, and I’m totally serious when I say that. Hold on to that land! In a few months the economy will explode and no one will be able to take land from anybody. So it will basically belong to whoever owns it at the time.

RV and boat storage might work. As long as you are zoned and can get insurance to cover yourself. The good thing about your idea is that it would take very little effort on your part. If it doesn’t work you wouldn’t loose much. With diamond lake close buy I would think a boat storage may do well. I would keep it simple until you can really do some good research to find out what you could profit you most.

You should talk to the planning department before you get too far. You will need to know what kind of permits you can obtain for your zoning. RV can be tough to obtain because of the environmental waste issues associated.
